Utility template
Day-wise itinerary
Meta category: Utility
Utility templates confirm or update something the person already asked for: an order, a booking, an appointment, or a payment they owe on an existing invoice. A discount, a new product, or a 'while you are here' line moves the template into marketing.
The guest has a booked trip and you are sending the plan for that trip. Dates and place names, without an upsell, keep it utility.

Hi {{1}}, your plan for {{2}} starts {{3}} with {{4}}. The rest of the days are on the itinerary page. Times can move for weather or traffic. This is the booked plan, not a new package.Sample values
Submit these as the examples Meta reviews. Replace them with your own customer data only at send time.

When to use it
Send it after the plan is final enough to be useful, for a trip they have paid for or confirmed. {{4}} is day one only. A five-day plan pasted into WhatsApp will be truncated and will be wrong the moment a museum is closed.
Visa advice, travel insurance, and a room upgrade do not belong here. If pickup is not included, do not sample a pickup. Change {{4}} to the real first item, such as 'check-in from 2:00 pm'.
Tips for getting it approved
- Place names and a date, no superlatives.
- Say that times can move, if that is how your tours run.
- The itinerary URL must be this guest's plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can I list every day in the template?
You can, and you will hate the edit when day three changes. One day in the body and the rest on the page is the version that survives a week of operations.
Is a suggested restaurant utility?
If it is a reserved table on the booked plan, mention it on the itinerary page. A list of places you earn commission from is marketing.
