What you need before you click connect

A Facebook Business Manager account, a website that matches the brand, and a phone number that is not already on the WhatsApp mobile app. If the number is on the app, delete that account first or pick another number. Migration from a provider is a different path and starts with [email protected].

In the dashboard, choose Connect by yourself. You enter the business, pick or create a WhatsApp Business Account, set the public profile, and verify the number by SMS or call. The docs say the account links in a few minutes.

What you open on day one

Checklist on day one

Setup progress lists the unfinished steps, including the business profile, templates, and Connect WhatsApp. Quick actions sit beside it.

A bot, then a reminder

The canvas is where a reply is built. A reminder that only states the message can stay utility. Put an offer in that message and it becomes marketing.

A person answers from the inbox
