When to use it
Send it the morning of the delivery attempt, when the courier status actually says out for delivery. Do not send it the night before based on a hopeful ETA.
The quick reply is for people who need to redirect the attempt. Route that reply to a human or to your courier instructions. Do not answer it with a discount.
Tips for getting it approved
- Describe the window as a range in one variable so the grammar stays stable.
- Do not ask them to rate you in this message. The parcel has not arrived.
- Phone digits in the sample should be four digits, matching the copy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I name the delivery person?
Only if you have that name at send time and put it in a variable. Most courier feeds do not. Leave the name out rather than guessing.
Is a delivery PIN allowed in the body?
A handover OTP is sensitive. Prefer 'the courier will share a code' over printing the PIN in WhatsApp, where it sits on a lock screen.
