Utility template
Order confirmed
Meta category: Utility
Utility templates confirm or update something the person already asked for: an order, a booking, an appointment, or a payment they owe on an existing invoice. A discount, a new product, or a 'while you are here' line moves the template into marketing.
The customer placed an order. This confirms the id, the total, and the next step. There is no offer, so it stays utility.

When to use it
Send it as soon as payment is captured or a COD order is accepted. It replaces the 'did my order go through?' chat. Keep {{3}} to the item summary, not a list of things they might also like.
If the order can still be cancelled by fraud review, say it is received and under review instead of confirmed. Do not use this template for that state.
Tips for getting it approved
- No coupon, no festival greeting, no 'share with a friend'.
- The sample order id should look like your live ids.
- One URL button to the order is enough. A second button to the sale page pulls the template toward marketing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a referral line at the bottom?
Not on this template. A referral ask is marketing. Send a separate marketing template later if they opted in to offers.
Should COD and prepaid share this template?
Yes, if both are truly confirmed. The amount in {{4}} is what they will pay or have paid. Do not say 'paid' in the body if COD orders use the same text.
