When to use it
Send it the day before, to the number on the booking. Name the doctor and the branch. Do not name the department if that department reveals a condition the patient has not agreed to see on a lock screen. 'Dr. Iyer at the Andheri clinic' is enough.
The 10-minute line has to be true for that branch. If the doctor is running a camp at another site, do not send this template. Send a reschedule note instead.
Tips for getting it approved
- No symptoms, no test names, no medicine names in the body or the samples.
- Reschedule must reach the front desk, not a marketing bot.
- Do not add a checkup package to a reminder.
Frequently asked questions
Can I name the department?
Only when it does not disclose a condition, and the patient expects it. A lock screen that says a psychiatry or fertility clinic can be a privacy problem. When in doubt, use the doctor and the branch.
Is a reminder allowed without a new opt-in?
A utility reminder about an appointment they booked is the standard case. You still need their WhatsApp number from that booking, and you still cannot bolt a promotion onto it.
