Annual checkup package

Meta category: Marketing

Marketing templates promote, recommend, or try to bring someone back. Meta bills them as marketing messages. The person needs a valid opt-in, and the copy cannot be dressed up as a shipping or payment update.

A paid checkup package is a product. Offering it is marketing, including to patients who visited last year.

Template body

Hi {{1}}, {{2}} has an annual checkup at {{3}}. The page lists the tests included. It is optional, and it is separate from any report you already have.

Submit these as the examples Meta reviews. Replace them with your own customer data only at send time.

When to use it

Send it to people who opted in to health offers, not as the next message after a lab report. The price in {{3}} has to match the page. If the package contents differ by age, say so on the page rather than promising one panel in the template.

Stop when they tap 'Not interested'. A clinic that follows a refusal with a second package the same week will lose the opt-in, and it should.

Tips for getting it approved

  • No claims that the package prevents a disease.
  • Do not reference a recent result or a condition.
  • The included tests live on the URL, so the template does not go stale when the panel changes.

Frequently asked questions

Can this go out with the report-ready message?

No. The report is utility. The package is marketing. Sending them together makes the report look like a sales funnel, which patients notice and reviewers can reject.

What if the price changes?

Pass the price as {{3}} and update the page the same day. Do not leave last year's fee in the send.
