New Year gift card
Meta category: Marketing
Marketing templates promote, recommend, or try to bring someone back. Meta bills them as marketing messages. The person needs a valid opt-in, and the copy cannot be dressed up as a shipping or payment update.
Selling a gift card for New Year is a promotion. It is marketing, including when last year's buyers are the audience.

When to use it
Use this in the last week of December, for contacts who opted into offers and who are not already in an open support chat. The 'never expires in the first year' line has to be your actual gift-card rule. If cards expire in six months, delete that sentence before submission.
Email delivery 'within the hour' is a promise. If your provider batches overnight, say 'by the next morning' instead. A New Year card that arrives on 2 Jan is a complaint, not a campaign.
Tips for getting it approved
- State the starting value in the sample with currency.
- Do not claim instant delivery if the vendor agreement says otherwise.
- Keep bonus credit ('buy 1000 get 100') off this template unless the page shows that bonus for every value.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send this to people who only bought a coffee once?
Only if that purchase flow collected marketing opt-in. A transaction is not permission for a December promotion.
What about a physical card?
This body says emailed. A posted card needs a different template with a dispatch date, or the claim is false.
