Marketing template
Diwali edit preview
Meta category: Marketing
Marketing templates promote, recommend, or try to bring someone back. Meta bills them as marketing messages. The person needs a valid opt-in, and the copy cannot be dressed up as a shipping or payment update.
This announces a Diwali collection before the sale peak and asks people to look. A greeting with a shop button is marketing, even without a percent off.

Quick reply
When to use it
Send this three to five days before the collection opens, only to contacts who opted in to festival campaigns. {{4}} has to be the real go-live time. If the edit is already on sale, use the last-evening template instead of pretending this is a preview.
Leave the discount out on purpose. A preview that also says 30% off trains people to ignore the later message, and it locks a number into an approved template you may want to change.
Tips for getting it approved
- The year and the date in the sample should match the season you submit. A July sample that says Diwali looks careless.
- The opt-out quick reply is part of the template, not an afterthought.
- Do not claim the edit is 'limited' unless the page shows a limited quantity.
Frequently asked questions
Can a pure Diwali greeting be utility?
No. A festival wish sent to a marketing list is marketing, especially with a button into the shop. Utility is for an order or booking they already have.
Should I name the discount here?
Not in this template. Put the code in the last-evening message, when it is actually valid, so the preview stays true if the offer changes.
