Authentication template
Exam login code
Meta category: Authentication
Authentication templates send a one-time code. Meta fixes most of the wording. You cannot add a sale, a product name, an emoji, or a link to the shop. The button copies the code.
This delivers a one-time code to open an exam. Meta classifies that as authentication. A course offer under the code is not allowed.
Template body
{{1}} is your exam login code for {{2}}. It expires in a few minutes. Do not share this code.Sample values

When to use it
Send it only when the learner is on the exam login screen and has asked for a code. {{2}} names the exam login, not a batch you want them to buy. The code should expire within minutes and work once.
Do not send it the night before as a 'keep this code'. One-time codes that sit in a chat get forwarded, and a forwarded exam code is a conduct problem. If Meta forces its standard authentication wording, use that wording.
Tips for getting it approved
- Copy-code button only. No URL, no catalogue, no emoji.
- The sample is a 6-digit code, not 'OTP'.
- Do not mention fees, ranks, or a new batch in the body.
Frequently asked questions
Can the code mention the subject of the exam?
Keep {{2}} to the login name. The subject is already on the screen they are looking at. Extra detail is how authentication templates get pushed into marketing.
What if the learner did not request a code?
Do not send one. An unsolicited exam code is indistinguishable from a phishing message.
