Utility template
Appointment moved to a new time
Meta category: Utility
Utility templates confirm or update something the person already asked for: an order, a booking, an appointment, or a payment they owe on an existing invoice. A discount, a new product, or a 'while you are here' line moves the template into marketing.
You changed a time they already booked and you are telling them the new slot. That is an update to an existing appointment, which is utility.

I need another slot

When to use it
Send this the moment the calendar change is saved, not in a nightly batch. Both the old and the new time belong in the message. People remember 'Friday evening', not the booking id, and they need to see what changed.
If they reject the new slot, do not send a marketing blast of open times. Follow up in the thread with two real openings. This template only announces the move.
Tips for getting it approved
- Show both times in the samples so a reviewer can see it is a change, not a fresh booking pitch.
- Do not apologise with a discount code. A goodwill offer is a separate marketing template.
- Name the location in {{2}} if the move also changed the branch.
Frequently asked questions
What if the customer asked to reschedule?
This wording still fits, because it confirms the new time. If they proposed the time themselves, you can say 'as requested' only when that is true for every send.
Can one template cover a date change and a stylist change?
Put the new stylist in {{2}} or add a variable for them. Do not hide a staff change inside a time-only sentence, or they will arrive and ask for the original person.
