Utility template
Same-morning reminder
Meta category: Utility
Utility templates confirm or update something the person already asked for: an order, a booking, an appointment, or a payment they owe on an existing invoice. A discount, a new product, or a 'while you are here' line moves the template into marketing.
This is a same-day update about an appointment that is already on the calendar. It does not sell anything.

When to use it
Use this the morning of the visit, and only if you did not already get a confirmation from the 24-hour reminder. A consult that names the advisor in {{4}} stops the 'which Priya?' messages at the front desk.
Keep a cutoff. If someone taps 'I need to reschedule' inside two hours, your team still has to call, because a button does not free the slot by itself. The template should start that conversation, not pretend the slot moved.
Tips for getting it approved
- Do not attach a map pin plus an offer. One job per template.
- The practitioner name in the sample should look like a person, not 'staff'.
- Avoid words like 'exclusive' or 'limited seats' on a reminder.
Frequently asked questions
Can I include the fee in the morning reminder?
Only if they already agreed that fee and you are confirming it, with no new charge. A new price belongs on a separate template.
Should both reminders go to every booking?
No. Send the morning note when the day-before message got no reply, or when the appointment is easy to miss, such as a 9 am slot. Two confirmations in 18 hours annoy people who already said yes.
